Medicare UHC Supplement plan

My agent put me into the UHC Supplement plan (G) the day prior to the shooting and prior to all the bad press about UHC.

So now I'm wondering: are the UHC Advantage plan(s) the worrisome ones, or are there also issues with their Supplements?

Anyone here with a UHC (G) plan? What is your experience with them like?

Also, is it easy to switch Supplement plans during open enrollment in case I don't like them, or are there health screenings involved?

TIA

and deductible unless someone chooses a plan that does not cover Medicare's deductibles (those Medigap plans are a bit cheaper). There are a few minor exceptions like people can choose a high deductible Medigap plan.

That's why most experts say to decide whether you want Plan A, D, G, etc., then pick the cheapest one. Note: There are a few high deductible options nowadays, but they still have to pay the part of Medicare's Allowable that is the beneficiary's responsibility once that threshold is crossed.

The first 80% and the Supplemental pays off the balance.

We have never had a problem with our Medicare nor our UHC supplemental and we have had some major medical bills in 2023.

We also have the UHC(F) plan which is outstanding for us.

Get Mutual of Omaha. It is less expensive and the same exact plan.
