I get a lot of books on my Kindle. So do other people. My son and d-i-l get all their babies' diapers and stuff from Amazon. I think we are way too dependent on Amazon to break the habit.

own question really. When you think about it we were all able to get along without it for a very long time and now it is a convenience. Anything worth taking a stand for is a matter of a little sacrifice sometimes. If enough people did go without for just a little while it would certainly have an impact. It is a matter of principle and how much you stand by your convictions and is different for everyone.

It's that important to me. I suppose if you're that invested in amazon, you should weigh your priorities, or is it too hard, wah, wah, wah.

I'm a very severe chronic pain patient and it's really hard to get out. I pay in increased pain for days just going to the doctor and getting my meds. So I have been relying on Amazon.

My list of stuff I need is always all over the map. So is Walmart my only other option?

This has really been bothering me.

and they are on the list of companies to boycott. I don't get another shipment for a month but I called the specialty pharmacy (the meds are $700 a month WITH health insur coverage but my doctor was able to get them for me for free since I am broke and in need) and told them about my problem with using them and they said that they only use Fed Ex. Finally they said they would send them via UPS if Fed Ex was still supporting the NRA in 3 weeks, But I need to call them again and let them know.

There is a lot of pressure on Fed Ex right now so maybe they'll cave soon.

of two evils. I'm guessing that they're still pretty bad but at least they don't have NRA TV.

ETA: I'm really happy for you that your doctor helped you with the prescription assistance program (I'm assuming it's one of those). I can't imagine what hell it would be not to be able to obtain your medications, although there's probably people in this very forum who are suffering like that.
