1. I'm pretty sure it would, since re-loading time is always a gun crazy's most vulnerable time.

But they call them gun-crazies for a reason, so don't expect any effective legislation on the subject any time soon.

Make stockpiling ammo fucking expensive.

Also if it costs two tanks of gas to empty a clip, people will think about every random shot.

And he's joking of course, but seriously - an amount like $10 means a gun owner can afford to load the six-shooter they use for protecting their home no problem, maybe keep some spare rounds in a drawer, but if they want to shoot gazillions of rounds either for fun or for murder, they also have to spend gazillions of dollars. It's also immune from those who say "when guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns" - if outlaws can't afford the bullets, they won't be shooting those useless guns.

Citizens may have the "right to bear arms" but they have no specific right to horde ammunition at discount prices.

"right to bear arms" is a fallacy IMHO. It amazes me how the first half of the 2nd Amendment is totally ignored or just disregarded.

"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

with 5 round fixed magazines. That will help eliminate rapid reloading/killing, AND make gunners feel a little less bold. After all, that’s the main appeal to these rifles, no matter what gunners say.

Anyone who takes the trouble to own something they don't plan on abusing is not going to be happy about giving it up.

Gun marketeers know their market and aimed this ad -- for the style rifle that killed innocent kids at Sandy Hook -- at the typical buyer.

I remember seeing that ad and thinking it was the most stupid thing ever related to guns. Why did it work on you?

Keep in mind that women also buy and shoot these guns. I am a precision shooting coach. I know that girls normally outperform the boys when they are novice shooters. If you talk about a man card to them, they will most likely laugh in your face.

Not interested in gun apologists who help prolong this problem in our society.
