If only they were as eager to defend the 15th Amendment

I hear defenders of the 2nd Amendment worry about 'baby steps', that could result in their guns being taken away. If only they were as worried about citizens losing the right to vote.

Thanks 70sEraVet for providing the initial blurb on voting rights (and I wondered what exactly the wording was too)...

“The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.” The 15th Amendment guaranteed African-American men the right to vote. In addition, the right to vote could not be denied to anyone in the future based on a person’s race. The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

gun rights etc., actually hyperventilate on the issue, and yet, just on another constitutional right, voting (just as important IMHO), voting rights seem to be second fiddle to these thugs and they are attacking voting rights literally in almost every state.
