All we have to do is kiss the NRA Gun Huggers' collective asses in order to get watered-down legislation even considered. Bullshit! The people are already together on this issue, it's the NRA and their bought-and-paid-for fucking corrupt politicians who are allowing the proliferation of guns and gun violence in this country.

Fuck the NRA and its "cold dead hands" apologists. Fuck them all.

You'd rather jump up and down and throw temper tantrums that you didn't get your way rather than change the way you approach the subject?

get this "strait" (sic): I would rather have sane gun regulation passed in this country than have the fucking NRA dictate weak-assed laws that allow more children to die for the profit of corrupt politicians and gun manufacturers.

It is you NRA apologists who are "jumping up and down" because you're scared that the mean old Democrats are coming to take away your precious fucking gun. The tide is changing, and the public is very tired of reading about one gun-caused atrocity after another on an almost daily basis.

We are not coming for your fucking guns, but we WILL enact laws and regulations that make you accountable and responsible for the fucking things. We WILL make our politicians pay a political price for not ensuring that criminals and mentally incompetent persons do not have unfettered access to fucking guns. This may not happen overnight, but it WILL happen, and the majority of Americans already agree with us.

You, and the author of that right-wing piece of trash you posted, would have us believe that ALL gun owners vote and think as a bloc. News flash: they do NOT, and many of them want the same things that we want. There is no need to kiss the collective asses of the "cold dead hands" followers of NRA, because they are in the distinct minority when it comes to the issue of "more gunz is better" as a solution.

You people really need to get over yourselves. You are no longer relevant to the issue.

Why do you gunners post the same shit over and over?
The gun measures passed a majority of Senators. It was the need to get 60 votes that killed it not the gun owner voters.
The gun manufacturers lobby is why there are no votes not the number of voting gun owners. You guys give yourselves way more credit than is due. 90% of voters want stricter background checks.

Why do you gunners post the same shit over and over?

The same reason the same pro-control posts show up time after time. If someone says something enough times they know others will start believing it is true.

For the record I think the article has a .1 carat diamond buried in 2.8 million tons of fresh manure i.e. a pro-gun statement of 'be reasonable and do it my way'

My uncle Wayne passed on about eight years ago but we were on good terms.

I prefer to think about the fact that 87% of Americans were for the background check legislation, and are really pissed that the NRA managed to buy off our democracy.

Should be an interesting ride going forward.

If you do not support the policies of progressive gun control reform organizations, there is much DU to post upon.

Thanks,
