I can't thinking of anything worse.
Living 500,000 years would be great, but an eternity would be torturous.

(6 posts)If our place eternal is in heaven, then infinity would be a beautiful and joyful continuum of our existence.
Remember, there are no tears in heaven- a place where we're not floating around on fluffy clouds strumming upon harp strings. Talk about boring! I'm glad that true paradise is not like this...

(14 posts)I just cant conceive of living forever. ALthough ive heard that eternity isnt the same as forever...eternity being a place 'without time.' rather than an infinate amount of time. What if you lived in a place without time? That would be the same right?

(505 posts)Is to entertain the idea of nothing with music and tea. The last hour of work is eternity. The clock runs backward, falls on its face, and your phone is silent, there's no one to call, a bee is buzzing out in the street, your stomach is full and there's nothing to eat, there's a radio playing way down the hall, and Santa is coming and taking it all, and finding it large and leaving it small, and life has no meaning, and time cannot crawl, but the shadows are creeping all over the wall. Time is a little king in a boat rowing himself around in a moat with one oar long, and one oar short, he rows my whole life gone.
