Religious issues show Malaysians ignorant in faith matters, Soi Lek says - See more at: http://www.t

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 14 — The growing number of religious issues in the country highlights the ignorance of many faith followers here towards those of other beliefs, MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek (pic) said today.

Dr Chua was speaking after party leaders discussed the controversial use of a Muslim prayer room by Buddhists last week, the latest case to grab national headlines after the country’s divisive polls in May.

“We deal with concerns that in a multiracial country like ours, after the general election, too many religious sensitivities issue that have been played out and it also shows the ignorance of the various religious followers in this country.

“So it’s a matter of concern to all of us, to all Malaysians who love this country,” Dr Chua told the media when speaking on behalf of MCA presidential council.

I think this illustrates one of the problems when religion comes up. Half of the dialogue doesn't know what the hell the other half is talking about. So, out come the strawmen.
