A man of the people, of the downtrodden, and willing to dispense with many of the bullshit formalities that have characterized the roman catholic church.

Though I did enjoy mass in Latin.

I'm sure that man has suffered in body and soul, likely for many years.
I hope he gets lasting comfort from the touch of our dear pope Francis.
