Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the Highest.

Tomorrow Palm (Passion) Sunday is observed in the west. Palm (Passion) Sunday is the day we observe Jesus's triumphant entrance into the city of Jerusalem. He entered the city on a donkey with the people placing their cloaks and palm on the road before him. They shouted hosanna in the highest and hosanna to the son of David because Joseph was a descendant of David. The religious authority at the time wanted Jesus to calm the crowd and he responded "If I tell the crowd to be silent the stones would cry out". We also observe the passion narrative as the gospel reading. We leave in silence to represent that we are walking away from the foot of the cross.

I wish you all a blessed and safe Palm Sunday to you all!
