Muslim Scholars organise conference on protecting Non-Muslims

January 22, 2016

Morocco is the place decided to organize a summit by hundreds of Muslim Scholars next week to relax the rights of Non-Muslims living amongst them.

Shaykh Hamza Yousuf co-founder of Zaytuna College, the first Muslim liberal arts college in U.S, said its time Muslims must get firm on their tradition’s true teachings on tolerance.

The conference will hark back to The Charter Of Medina in which Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) listed the rights of non-Muslims 1400 years ago. The meet is expected to be attended by more than 300 Muslim scholars from around the world.

On Thursday 21 Jan in a pre-conference media call Shaikh Yousuf said “The prophet was religiously persecuted, so he knew firsthand what it was to experience religious persecution”
