Movies you could watch again and again

There are movies that I could watch over and over again. If I find them on a lazy Saturday or Sunday, I'm hooked. Here is a list of my most recent obsessions:

Cold Mountain
Master and Commander
Coco Before Chanel
Amelie
O Brother, Where Art Thou?
Fargo
An Education
My Fair Lady
Mary Poppins
Braveheart
The Pianist
The King's Speech
The Color Purple
The Young Victoria
Atonement

I would list The Shawshank Redemption, but I think I have worn myself out on that one. Replace it with pretty much any other Coen Brothers movie.

There is no rhyme or reason to the list, just what I find myself watching, and watching, and watching.

I love both those movies, and have watched both many times - although never in the same sitting as a "double feature". But it's an interesting thought...

"The Secret of Roan Inish" is definitely one of my all time favorite movies. All I can say is, DO see it!

Visually striking. Worth it just for the scene settings (The Peony Pavillion, The Field of Flowers, The Bamboo Forest, The Woods, even The Dungeon), not to mention Zhang Zi-Yi. Also beautiful music and costumes.

I lkie lots of movies, including many of those listed, but there are only two that I have watched many many times.
A Hard Day's Night
The Benny Goodman Story

I only like the musical numbers from the other Beatles movies.
I also like, but could only see about fifty times, is The Dorsey Brothers.
I've only seen it once, but I could probably see it multiple times, The Gene Krupa Story.
Before you ask, once was enough for The Glen Miller Story.

I thought the best one was the rendition of I Want To Hold Your Hand

Another movie is I Am Sam. I haven't seen it, but I like the soundtrack.

Great movie full of then unknown actors who became huge stars! I don't know of another movie that did that.

My guilty favorites to watch over and over....girly picks...."Mystic Pizza,
Sound of Music, Goodbye Girl, Sleeping with the Enemy, and Urban Cowboy"
