Related: About this forumHow long before Hollywood makes a movie about Thai cave rescue?
I give it 6 months to casting is underway and a director is named (Oh, I hope Ron Howard is available!),
and start of filming shortly thereafter. It'll be a huge hit and I'd lay down $14 to see it. Sometimes this stuff just writes itself. Art will imitate Life. What wonderful feel-good miracle story! It will always make me smile!!

Two American producers are already plotting a movie project about the Wild Boars youth soccer team and their coach in anticipation of global box office success.
"I see this as a major Hollywood film with A-list stars," Michael Scott, managing partner of Pure Flix films, told AAP.
Scott and co-producer Adam Smith have been conducting preliminary interviews around the Tham Luang cave site, where a final push is now underway to complete the rescue of the group of 13 who became trapped in the caves by rising flood waters more than two weeks ago.

(13,436 posts)Signature lines from the movie. "When the Thai king called, I couldn't refuse his call. It was my greatest rescue, yet. The Dems will be jealous. Lying press will try to say it didn't happen. All Hillary would'a sent was more emails."

(16,903 posts)The coach has no family, one of the students also is separated from his family in Myanmar. He speaks 4 languages and was a critical player in the rescues. I look forward to seeing the movie.
