Rarely do this...But I just came from the movie The Green Book..

Based on a true story of a very famous Black Piano Player who hires a tough N.Y. Club Bouncer to be his Chauffer on his tour through the deep south during the worst of times ( Hardcore Segregation)

Really a good film...

but like this review [link:https://www.vox.com/2018/11/16/18069756/green-book-review-racism-schomburg-segregation],
most reviews I've seen have talked about the fact that the film centers the white character's experience and leaves out the Green Book and most of the horrors of overt racism for which the film is named. I think I'll pass on yet another "feel-good, white savior" film.

this is the only film with a chance to push out ROMA for best picture Oscar. Mahershala Ali is a lock to win supporting actor but he should be nominated for best actor. He's a co star, not supporting.
