Sounds a little like Clue on Testosterone.

But, I'm of a certain age that Clue was on cable constantly when I was a teen, so I do have a soft spot for it.
I enjoyed it thoroughly. It's good, fun time at the movies.

Not nearly as interesting as most of the BBC Mysteries I've seen over the years.
I was waiting for a character named Red Herring to show up. It seemed to be trying for "Sleuth" but ended up as "Clue"anyway.
