If it was more than just me watching it, I wouldn't mind paying that. But I'm only one person, and that's a bit high.

(26,639 posts)Were movie theaters open, I'd have seen it in a theater, where it would cost a whole lot less than twenty bucks. I do expect it will come down in price, probably all the way to free on Prime. I can wait.

(9,652 posts)No, at the time of writing, (5 hours ago) News of the World is not on Netflix in the United States. However, the Tom Hanks-starring film is available on Netflix here in the UK and elsewhere internationally after releasing on February 10th.
This is because the streaming service bought the distribution rights to the film outside of the US. In the US, meanwhile, Universal Pictures is the distribution rights holder

In the US, News of the World is available to rent via online digital stores such as the Google Play and Amazon Prime Video stores.
News of the World has had an unusual release schedule so far with the movie originally arriving in US theaters on Christmas Day.
