Any other fans of that movie here? I just love it, maybe because when I was growing up, "cowboy music" was something we listened to as kids. This movie really embodies the essence of old cowboy movies.

Hope I never meet Liam Nelson in person because Ill probably punch him for the awful way he treated that poor orator.

(4,311 posts)That scene resonated with me for a long time and sent me ruminating for days on the brutality of necessity and peoples ability to rationalize the most horrible things. What does it mean to be charitable? What is the value of art to men who are barely subsisting? Who wants to hear Shakespeare when you can watch a chicken do math?!
Every episode is so unique and yet the whole thing is so cohesive.
