I think he was horribly miscast as Alexander Hamilton in the "John Adams" miniseries, but other than that, he has a terrific catalogue of work.

There is a series of mystery novels set in Ancient Rome about a P.I. (Private Informer) names Marcus Didius Falco, that I keep hoping they will turn into a movie or TV series. Sewell is too old for the role now, but he would have been my first choice for Falco around twenty years ago or so.

If yes I kinda get him mixed up With Gabriel Byrne and can't really place him in anything outside of DC. Oh wait, he was the antagonist in A Knights Tale too, IIRC. He was a real member in that one.

My sentimental fav is "A Knight's Tale." I recently watched him as Lord Melbourne - he appears in about 7 episodes - in the "Victoria" series.

Love his acting work.
