The bell tower is at Mission San Juan Bautista south of Gilroy on Hwy. 101.

High Anxiety is mostly a take-off of this movie and uses San Francisco locations as well.

Ms. Novak's performance at The Legion of Honor museum was eerie and set a lot of the tone for the movie.

Hitchcock had a cameo (he had several in his movies)

Stunt persons, and so on.

I'd look it up (I seem to remember reading details of it in the past) but I am way behind in everything today.
