I get goosebumps every time I watch this movie. It's just a brilliant piece of film making, IMHO. George Pal special effects still hold up today. Excellent cast and direction. A bit heavy with the "God saved us" stuff, but it doesn't ruin the film. I wish there were more classic sci fi movies like this.

The only good work Gene Barry ever did in his 90 years. It also had the best cheap special effects.
