I always found it interesting that Chief narrates the whole story, but hardly speaks at all. Him and McMurphy are the only two sane ones of the bunch.

It is one of my favorite book/movies. Nurse Ratched is one of the most evil villains ever.

I loved the book. But when I heard they made a movie of it, I couldn't imagine how the story would be told because, as you say, in the book, the story is told through a character that stays silent almost throughout.
But the movie is every bit as masterful as the novel!
