One thing: They got the USS Saratoga out of mothballs. I thought it was decommissioned in 1994.
Another thing: Some of the stuff in the trailers wasn't in the movie. Like the statue of liberty replica in Las Vegas.
I was even better than I expected and was true to the old Japanese versions. Even the acting was good.

I think they have warnings about disorientation watching 3D TV for long periods of time.
Peter Jackson has been using a film technique utilizing more frames per second which people have said actually makes them nauseous.

(20,377 posts)The internets said that was better for side vision than IMax 3D. I don't know. I was a little disappointed. But the last 3D movie I ever saw was The Creature From the Black Lagoon. So who am I to know? It was a bit dark though.

No, really
I was going to ask how many freeking commercials you had to see before the coming attractions before the actual movie. The last time I saw a movie, I lost track of how many I had to see. This is got to be reason to get to any featured motion picture "late".
