future of the Appalachia group

Hey guys!

I like this group because it's nice to have a place where regional topics can get posted and discussed - sometimes they get lost if just posted in a state group. But we aren't a very active lot so I'm not sure how beneficial it is. Do you think we should continue on?

The only hosts of the group are me and The Handpuppet. The Handpuppet has been MIA for over a year so I don't think she's coming back at this point (I hope I'm wrong). I'm not sure what my DU future is going to be. So I wanted to find out - is anyone interested in becoming a host for this group?

What does a group host do?
-Lock threads
-Pin threads
-Block a member from the group
-Make a member a Host of the group (or remove a host)

But since you are the only one to respond, I'm going to elevate you to host. You can try it out and see what you think. I don't think it's absolutely critical that you live in the area as long as it is an interest to you.

All hail our new host!

Mountopping/coal major one of those. I'd hate to lose the regional group.

BTW, I may not post much here, but I do try & check it 2-3 times week at least.
