I know an OP was made in Latest Breaking News, but thought we should have a thread here, too.
"A train carrying crude oil derailed in Fayette County on Monday afternoon, sending at least one car into the water where a tributary meets the Kanawha River, setting a house on fire, leading to the evacuation of nearby residents and prompting the governor to declare a State of Emergency for Fayette and Kanawha counties."

Just heard on the news that water intakes at a couple of drinking water plants have been shut down due to the oil spilled in the river.
This is oil was being shipped to Virginia. The article does not state where it would go from Virginia. My bet it is being exported. We need to start asking who is benefiting by the export of this nasty stuff. All the costs are being put onto the public commons by the destruction of the land and contamination of the air and water.
