We admitted Dad to a skilled nursing facility yesterday

My brother (his primary care-giver for the last 7 months) says that Dad's dementia and paranoia has turned delusional. (I won't get tinto the details of the delusions, but they're pretty bad.)

Dad obviously needs care that we can't give him.

According to my brother and sister (who took him to the facility) dad is "unhappy but accepting."

I will be paying Dad a visit this afternoon. The facility is nearby--thankfully.

... are going old first. We're dealing with it, too. A brother is our dad's guardian and I support him 100%. A sister and another brother are not cooperating. But we are in watching the old man deteriorate so quickly. You and your dad are in my thoughts.
