Nowitzki becomes 4th player to score 27,000 points with one team

The milestones just keep piling up for Dirk Nowitzki.

With his 10th and 11th points of the game against the Charlotte Hornets on Monday, an 18-foot jumper midway through the third quarter, Nowitzki reached the 27,000-point mark for his career.

In addition to ranking No. 9 on the NBA's all-time scoring list and No. 1 among international born players, Nowitzki is now one of four players, along with Michael Jordan, Karl Malone and Kobe Bryant, to score at least 27,000 points with one franchise.
