As WNBA Interest Grows, the Lynx Are Ready to Grow With it
On what seems like a nightly basis, the WNBA and all 12 of its teams has broken viewership and sales records, a testament to the continued growth of the league.
From record crowds, franchise-high ticket and merchandise numbers, or TV and radio networks reaching new heights with people tuning in, theres no denying that more and more fans have their eyes on the WNBA and womens basketball.
Such is the case for the Minnesota Lynx, a franchise that has historically had a large interest from its fan base, even before this league-wide surge in 2024. As weve seen in past seasons, Minnesota has once again had sellout crowds at Target Center. But this year is a bit different, with a spike in interest and sales taking turning up a notch to match the packed arenas in Minneapolis.
As the WNBA grows, both with the number of teams (over the next few seasons) and with the amount of fans following, the time is now to start capitalizing on that. And the Lynx are ready to grow along with the league.
