Caitlin Clark's career-high performance in Fever's key win over Sky draws rave reviews from LeBron James

CHICAGO --Late in the fourth quarter on Friday, her night's work complete, Caitlin Clark walked off the floor and asked the crowd to make some noise. Thousand roared in approval. No matter that it wasn't a home game for the Indiana Fever; the Clark Show travels. And its latest stop was one of its most impressive yet, a 100-81 win over the Chicago Sky and a career-high for the main attraction.

Clark, who finished 31 points, four rebounds and 12 assists, put together her stunning performance in front of legends such as Shaquille O'Neal, in town to support Angel Reese, and Sue Bird, who was there in conjunction with the Barbie campaign.

Thousands of miles away, another all-time great was also watching.

"CAITLIN CLARK!!!!! HI HATERS," LeBron James wrote on social media. In a reply to another post he called her "SO COLD," before re-posting her highlights.

The ROY discussion is over. It's Clark, then Clark, then Clark. Anyone else finishes tied for 4th.
I watched the game on the local channel here.
Coverage was very good. Even the Chicago announcers were nothing but effusive in their praise for the game she had.

I feel like RotY was over even before this game, but the deal seems sealed.

But also a good win by the Fever. With Marina Mabrey being traded away and Chennedy Carter out sick, I think Chicago really didn't have a shot anyway.

Before the Olympic break, there was chatter about her or Reese. I thought that was ridiculous.
The Fever have already won more games than all last season. They were .325 this year & are highly likely to finish above .500 this year. I can see them winning 22 games. A 70% improvement because of one player.
There's no sensible argument for anyone else as RoY.
