Washington Falls To Purdue In West Lafayette

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — The Washington women's basketball team (12-4, 2-3 Big Ten) fell to Purdue (10-7, 2-4 Big Ten) 78-72, on Sunday afternoon in Mackey Arena.

The Huskies had four different players finish in double figures. UW consistently attacked the cup against the Boilermakers, recording 40 points in the paint.

Washington outrebounded Purdue, 41-37. Hannah Stines, Avery Howell, and Elle Ladine each pulled down eight boards. Sellers added six more rebounds for the Huskies.

Sellers led all scorers with 23 points, while tacking on three assists and two steals.
