Haven’t encountered this particular indica strain. It’s rare, according to Leafly, and has an average 18% THC. Not bad, considering that, way back when, only the crème de la crème reached that lofty goal.

I took a hiatus from the noble weed for 26 years, only returning to it two years in October. I have no regrets, but a lot has changed since then. I won’t regale everyone with boomer reminiscences, but THC levels of 18% were not readily available. I recall some Thai stick that I’m reasonably sure reached that level, a couple of ‘so-called Colombian’ lids here and there, some sinsemilla, some homegrown indica from bona fide Lebanese seeds that sent one unfortunate fellow to the ER for what would today get called a panic attack. Aside from that, we were smoking glorified hemp. I made the acquaintance of some chemistry grad students who were into extraction. The basis of their ‘documented’ work made its way to Rick Simpson - the RSO guy. Anyway, I tried those extracts, probably cauterizing my respiratory system in the process, but they got THC levels upwards of 45% I am proud of my contribution to advancement of science.

Alcohol is my usual mind-altering. No workplace tests for that. I’m far enough into my new job that no one is going to want me to pee in a cup.

i’ve been out for a while, cuz i’ve been too sick to stand in line @ the dispensary. but i have bud, and i have the tablets i take twice a day. a cdg/thc combo in the a.m. and a thc:cbn:cbd at night.
starting to feel halfway human. just decided to do a little writing b4 i give in to an early nap.

Something relaxing, I presume…

Must be the sativa. I don’t know if it matters due to strain or the profile of the other constituents, but sativa keeps me going to get things done. I’m completely comfortable performing at a high level of activity. Indica seems to give me ‘couch lock’. Shadypants jokes, anyone?

At my old employer, overwork was the problem.

At my new one, it’s office politics.

Both create the need for an escape valve. I’m using one today…
