Munchies - Which strains

The "munchies" is not my favorite side effect of using cannabis. I swear I'm putting on weight since I've been smoking something called Grape Ox. I know some other strains I've tried haven't done this to me nearly as much. I don't recall the Blue Dream having the same effect.

What do you think? Which strains do or don't give you the munchies? I know most of them do to some degree, but maybe some are worse (or better) than others?

If you've never had them, they're oatmeal cookie bars with butterscotch chips. So good! They turned out awesome and I ended up eating waaaaay more than I actually needed.

It tastes better than junk food, is MUCH more satisfying and it's good for you.

"Blue Dream" is a marketing term, not a strain.

Blue Dream was a cross between Blueberry and Haze or something like that. Maybe I don't know the correct term for the different types.

I suppose there is a chance you might get the original cross, but it's not very likely. Most of the names they give "strains" these days is just marketing.

People definitely love the name "Blue dream", as do dispensary owners.

It had a wonderful blueberry taste and the effects were in line with what I'd read about it. I hope I can find some like that again.

As for the paleo....I like cheese and carbs too much to go that route but I do make sure my carbs are mostly whole grain. I never sit around eating Doritos and that kind of stereotypical munchie food. I eat quality foods. Just too much of them!

Munchies !!! Stand Away From the Fridge!! I really think from some years of experience that it comes down to Indica vs sativa Indica=Put a padlock on the fridge, after initial euphoria the munchies come from nowhere and attack, still fun though. Sativa= Leave the fridge alone no lock needed A milder euphoria when munchies occur it is not usually the I'm starving for everything munchies that get out of control. So that's my take for what its worth

I always liked the "up" head high of sativa but lately have been using indica because of the pain relief properties. Maybe I just need to switch back to sativa again. Thanks! I'll report back once I've tried that.
