It is unfortunate that we live in a country that is governed

by insane, deceitful, corrupt politicians.

It is a crime against humanity that this wondrous plant was outlawed.

The harm and destruction our archaic laws regarding cannabis have

caused is incalculable.

I propose:

The law should allow private cultivation of a very small number of plants for personal use only.

Also any and all cannabis sales should be taxed.

Cannabis seeds contain some of the highest amounts of Omega-3 Fatty Acids.

Cannabis seeds can be used to make flour.

It should be legal and we should be allowed to grow it.

It should never have been classified as a drug.

The laws in this country are a travesty.

If you are eating tomatoes in a restaurant, you are paying a tax.

I'm not about to suggest sorting out the logistics of making pot legal will be easy but I am willing to work with not against government.

They are the ones that caused this problem.

They initially got 110 countries to follow our insane laws against cannabis. (This includes Hemp)

Bill Clinton apologized to Mexico.

It is the year 2015.

I am sick of the games !!!

This country continually ignores facts and data.

Portugal has had a successful drug policy for 13 years.

Too classify cannabis as a drug is insanity.

Money is the only reason for this classification.

We have the largest prison population in the world because of insane U.S. policies.

I'm just fed up !!!!!!!!!!

It appears as if government is rethinking policy.

I would like to see cannabis 100% legal in all forms.

The fibers make a wonderful woven fabric.

There are many uses for the lowly, easily grown hemp plant.

Hemp crete, clothing, food, oil, grease, plastics, biodegradable plastics, medicine, body parts for cars, and

the list goes on and on.

I am in a bad mood because of all the harm our government causes in this country

and around the globe.

President Obama has a snide and condescending remark every time legalization of cannabis is mentioned.

It is always the number one question on open forums.

The fast tracking of the TPP has just about put me over the edge.

Off the watch Bill Maher.

Have a great evening and weekend.

Hope you and yours are safe, well, and happy.

Individual states and counties have always been able to have stricter regulations/laws. I'm not suggesting anything different on that level.

But, let's get real. As things are today, smoking in a state legally is breaking a federal law. Just the awareness of that is enough to kill the tranquility one feels when using any form of pot.

Thank you, Peg
