Finally growing just for myself (and a few friends). My outdoor strains this year...

Clown Royal (GG#4x DJ Short blueberry), Jacky White(Jack Herer x White widow) and Raspberry Cough( Raspberry Kush x Strawberry Cough) I've been growing for 12 years and love choosing my types now on how much I like them, without regard on production numbers. And I only use comfrey compost tea and natural predators for mites instead of expensive chemicals and wasteful lights. I grew the same way last year and my Tangieland was amazing. It was strange actually paying for clones legally...

We have so many dispensaries that Oregon finally decided to stop giving licences for awhile. $24 a clone but awesome variety. I get mine from Moss Crossing(I get loyal to my growers).

I've heard them mentioned by a lot of growers as pretty effective.

The strain chase is frustrating, costly, but at least now easier with the internet for very helpful research.

This increases the good predators(ladybugs) to deal with the problem insects. Spraying compost tea onto the leaves also covers the surface area with beneficial microbes that make it harder for fungi and diseases to take hold. Baby ladybugs look like tiny dragons.

...so i invested in a grow box so I can develop my own cones, but until then Im growing via seed and BY GAWD 50% of my flowering grow are males. Grrrrrr so I have to start all over again popping some seeds and vegging again. BUT i will have plenty of seeds (free) dont know the strains right off but they are Indica. Ive sent a few off to folks in legal land...i guess pm me if anyone wants a few, if you're not uncomfortable receiving them in the mail. I still have about a half cup of seeds from last year that I used for this grow.

He had been doing it since he was 4 (born and raised on a legal pot farm). He i.d. males the earliest I've seen, better than any adult. Also was extremely knowledgeable about plant diseases and pests. I really learned a lot from him. Cannabis growing is best learned from those with experience. Makes the internet more amazing, access to that experience. 50% males is pretty good, just need to i.d. and remove them in time. I'm starting a small indoor grow with LED'S and cloning my outdoor plants this year(in a month) and will be cloning and growing once again. (I grew for about a decade, big grows, high energy usage.) looking foward to a more sustainable and natural weed grow. My strains now are Jacky White, Clown Royal and Raspberry Cough. Here in Oregon we don't shrink wrap but I paid $24 a clone. I usually get at least a lb a plant so a awesome deal.

...usually I can take the males out pretty early in fact i was suspicious of one when it was vegging..and it did turn out to be one of the males when it went into the flower chamber. I want seeds so thats ok but dang it that cut into my grow. But wow do they mature fast in the grow box..esp the males.
