Hell Hath No Fury

Looks like I am a "racist" again.

Am watching the Establishment slap-down of those of us who are pushing back against Kamala Harris' sudden rise to the top of the Presidential pack based pretty much solely in her performance at the recent Senate hearings.

I am being told I have a "black" and/or "black woman" problem. Yes, that clearly must be it.

It has NOTHING to do with my years long, up-close-and-personal view of Harris' actions as a San Franciscan/Californian. It has NOTHING to do with my disappointment at seeing her courted at the Hamptons by the same 1%er interests that I have had a problem with for many, many years. It has NOTHING to do with my belief, based on my observations, that she will do little to address the cause of income inequality which has become foremost on my political agenda.

It's because she is a black woman and I am a racist.

And the Democratic Party continues to wonder why they lose people like myself...

We need to and can reshape or retake the party, but only if we keep at it. Hang in there -- you are right, they are on the wrong side of this one.

comments and I have been here almost as long as you have. I just don't see how that could be used against you.

It is probably a knee jerk reaction by someone angry who has every right to feel that way and you happened to be there at that moment (I am hoping). It should not happen here but it does.

I was kicked out of a group I belonged to (not here) because I was not feminist since I supported Bernie. People are so touchy these days and they will end up with messes to deal with later.

I know little about Kamala. I loved listening to her in the hearings but that is certainly not enough to support anyone. I liked what I heard but that was just then. It is interesting to see you write these things from a personal perspective. We need this to balance out what we do by hearing all sides and experiences but it seems anymore that is frowned upon. The D beside your name should be enough. I wonder if people in the R party had not voted and thought that way if Trump would be our * (I cannot say it).

I honestly don't think Kamala Harris will make much headway in the primaries; of course, it depends on who she runs against.

we are still in 2017 and they already have started smearing people who don't like the new annointed one harris.

she is another neoliberal.others informed me of her record as ag which wasn't good for those upset at corporations/banks/wall street.and those believing in transgender rights.

virtuly no poll shows she would be strongest againt trump.ppp which was clinton supporter's favorate pollster last year has strongest
opporents for trump as 1:Biden and 2:Bernie another poll which excludes bernie for reasons which are obvious has elizabeth waren
as strongest canidate.even some bernie supporters remain pissed at warren she is strongest dem if you exclude biden and bernie.

many people around here need to face reality.1_clinton's socalled popular vote win wouldn't have happened without many berners holding noise for clinton and 2-you need to get more votes to win.you can't go screw all those who didn't support clinton 100% from
begining and screw all stein and trump voters.why do people think trump's approval is in toilet.many voters have turned on him.both he and clinton had many were were voting against the other.and now trump has turned his back on the things which made people view him as different than typical republican he is in trouble.

Bernie meanwhile is most popular pol in us.dems should be embracing his policys instead of same old neoliberal policys.
