U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders is joining J.D. Scholten in the ISU Homecoming parade!

Iowa State University Homecoming Parade
2:00 on Ames Main Street

Our group entry also includes the ISU College Dems and we will be walking wearing Scholten t-shirts and carrying signs. We’d love if you’d like to join in showing the grassroots support for J.D. Scholten! Kids and dogs are welcome also! (Cleaning up any animal droppings is a requirement.)

HOW TO WALK IN THE PARADE WITH BERNIE AND J.D.:

1. Just wear your Scholten t-shirt, and if you don’t have one, you can get one at the special price of ONLY $10! Stop by our office Friday or Saturday (104 Kellogg Ave) or bring cash/check to get one at the staging location.

2. Arrive to the staging location between 12:00-1:00. The parade starts at 2:00 and is expected to last about 1 hour.

– Our staging area is in the Pro Nails parking lot, 526 Main St. See the comments below for maps.

– Parking is not available at the staging area. We recommend walking there or getting dropped off. If you do need to park a vehicle, HyVee and Fareway are the potential options.
