PDA Endorses Bernie Sanders for President

Bernie Sanders wins the official endorsement of the Progressive Democrats of America with a resounding 66% victory on the first ballot

To win PDA’s endorsement, a candidate needed to win more than 60% of the votes (which is always PDA’s threshold for endorsements). Because there were so many candidates in this race, we had adjusted the rules such that if any candidate failed to receive more than 60% of the vote on the first ballot, there would be a run-off between the top two candidates.

However, no second round will be necessary as Senator Sanders won a resounding victory, with 66% support from all of the PDAers who responded.

Therefore, it’s official: PDA endorses Senator Bernie Sanders for President! Please give to support Bernie’s run for President.
