O’Malley Campaign Rips Hillary Clinton on Unaccompanied Minors

Martin O’Malley for President Spokeswoman Gabriela Domenzain comments in e-mailed statement on Secretary Hillary Clinton’s contention that children fleeing violence in Central America should have been sent back.

“When thousands of children fleeing death and drug gangs in Central America sought refuge at the U.S. border, her first instinct was to send them home. Then, facing pressure for taking a position that would essentially ensure sending children back to certain death, she backtracked. Now today, she is standing by her initial comments that the children should have been sent back immediately”

“Governor O’Malley has been crystal clear on this issue from day one. He broke with both Republicans and Democrats and said we needed to be guided by our better angels and welcome the children as refugees”

I am appalled by Hillary's answer today again on the child refugee issue.

Just absolutely shameful. Thank God we have O'Malley pushing back and saying how wrong Hillary is.

Vox.com had an article where they talked about how badly Hillary's interview went on Telemundo.

I hope O'Malley gives them a great interview pushing back on Hillary's backwards views. I noticed some Latino Groups tweeting out disappointment with Hillary and send back replies that O'Malley is the best candidate on immigration/refugee issues and to take a look at his platform and what he has said.

Maybe wait for dnc's screwed up schedule and RUN with things thereafter??? I suspect he has a plan, at least how to address the next months, a la B OB chess master. After all, he ran an entire STATE for 8 years.

The dynamics certainly need to change on the Dem side. All we are seeing is negative stories about Hillary's email while the GOP have stories on policy. It's absurd and it is hurting our party to not see our ideas get press.
