Martin O'Malley
Related: About this forumMartin O'Malley Returns to Iowa on Saturday August 22, 2015 & Sunday August 23, 2015
Des Moines Following an inspiring speech at the Iowa State Fair and impassioned remarks at the Wing Ding, where he was called the best of the day, the most worth watching, and an executive who has proven himself on the state level, Governor OMalley will return to Iowa this Saturday, August 22nd, for a two-day swing as part of the Rebuilding the American Dream tour.
Governor OMalley did the State Fair right last week, according to media reports, and scored points with his calls for progressive action with a crowd that stretched nine rows deep beyond the seated crowd. OMalley made a strong case for new leadership and highlighted his long record of getting things done on progressive values. This week, he will hold multiple events around Iowa on the second leg of his Rebuild the American Dream tour, discussing his bold 15 Goals to Rebuild the American Dream.
Governor OMalley has made Iowa the focus of his campaign and spent more time in state than any other democratic candidate. This is his ninth trip to Iowa since announcing on May 30th. OMalley will continue to devote significant time in Iowa this summer, focusing on retail politics in Iowa, where a hand-shake and an honest conversation matter far more than even the largest rally.

HAPPY to see he's noted: Following an inspiring speech at the Iowa State Fair and impassioned remarks at the Wing Ding, where he was called the best of the day, the most worth watching, and an executive who has proven himself on the state level, Governor OMalley will return to Iowa this Saturday, August 22nd, for a two-day swing as part of the Rebuilding the American Dream tour. >>>

(1,464 posts)2. Dang it. I'll be in Des Moines this weekend and was hoping he'd
have an event nearby we could go to on Sunday during our drive back to Minnesota. That is way out of the way.
Oh, well. I'll have to try to go see him this fall instead.
