from an organizer in Iowa
I'm a field organizer for the campaign here in Iowa and last night was the best night of the campaign so far. It was incredible: while O'Malley campaigned in New Hampshire, we organized over 30 house parties in Iowa, with more than 250 attendees.
So when I woke up this morning and read the news, I couldn't help but be excited about what supporters were saying about our campaign and our candidate. Our months of organizing worked.
But we need your support to keep this going. Every house party we organize, every yard sign we print, every stack of caucus cards we go through gains us the critical support we'll need to win these early states, but also costs us money.
Will you donate just $10 today to keep this momentum going?
In New Hampshire, folks expressed their support for O'Malley after a day of meet & greets throughout the state:
"His message resonated w/ the group in Windham, especially when O'Malley talked about his successful 7 years as Gov.
"Hes been doing things that we could only hope for here in New Hampshire. I think hes completely fearless."
In Iowa, it was more of the same. After O'Malley called in to over 30 house parties across the state to talk with voters, the Ottumwa Courier wrote this:
"Melinda Jones ... said the party needs to be sure the nominee can excite Democrats and has a commitment to build the party. She likes a lot of what Bernie Sanders says, but noted he is officially an independent in the U.S. Senate who caucuses with the Democrats.
"She found what she was looking for in OMalley.
"'I really felt this excitement, this energy, the need for new leadership in our party,' she said."
Over the last 60 days we've gone from polling at 1% in Iowa to 7%. The vibe on the ground here is exhilarating, and this campaign can't be stopped.
Join us. Show us you're a believer like Melinda, and give just $10 today.
