http://www.wmur.com/politics/democrat-omalley-youve-got-to-just-keep-going/34951806But the former Maryland governor said the distinctions on important issues between him and Hillary Clinton, as well as the other candidates, are being drowned out by the continuing Clinton email issue and are being muted by the sparse number of debates scheduled by the Democratic National Committee.
Still, said O'Malley after a private meeting at the Manchester Boys and Girls Club, "You've got to just keep going, and eventually when people make their decision, it's after having seen each of us three or four or five times."
O'Malley has been to the Granite State early and often. He's been to dozens of meetings, house parties and businesses. Hes done interviews. Hes held town hall meetings. And Thursday, his campaign announced it is opening two new offices, in Keene and Portsmouth, in addition to its existing office in Manchester.

(11,607 posts)he is going door to door, having house parties and really doing a ground game.
I don;t have to tell you why I support the man, but I do appreciate his face to face campaign style. Slow and steady, we can do this.
I just signed up to help here in Virginia. Come back Recursion! I can use another volunteer!

(24,570 posts)He'd be way out in front
He has been just about everywhere
I think it will eventually turn in his favor
It's good to see he is out trying and not making a jack-ass of himself (like the 100000 candidates of the other party)

(2,798 posts)The media are an "entertainment industry" primarily. They are not "educators." They prefer disasters, such as mass murders, hurricanes, wildfires, and Trump. The more outrageous the better! We might even get a Trump/Palin republican ticket. Some clueless voters would vote that ticket to "stir things up."
I respect O'Malley for working hard in a culture that is more interested in easy answers, immediate satisfaction, and sound bites. He kind of goes against the grain. I like that. He brings new leadership by relying on good old fashioned values and principles that were the foundation of his education and upbringing.
I especially like the way O'Malley emphasizes the "common good" in a society that is addicted to narcissism and self-enhancement at the expense of others. Trump represents all that is alienated and broken about our society.
