Busy weekend planned for Grace, Will OMalley.
Its becoming a family affair for Democratic presidential candidate Martin OMalley.
A day after the former Maryland governor returns to New Hampshire for two Manchester stops, his children will arrive for a full Labor Day weekend of campaigning.
Grace OMalley, 24, a public school teacher in Baltimore, and Will OMalley, 17, will be in the state Saturday, Sunday and Monday. It will their first trip to the state as surrogates for their father.
Will OMalley on Saturday at 9 a.m. will visit the Francestown Historical Society Pancake Breakfast at the Village Store and will then stop at the Keene Farmers Market and, later, Lindys Diner in Keene. Grace OMalley will visit the Portsmouth Farmers Market at 10 a.m. and the University of New Hampshire Memorial Union Building.
Sunday at 10 a.m., both OMalley children will participate in the Friends Fighting Cancer 5K Walk beginning at Arms Park in Manchester and will participate in phone-banking at OMalley campaign headquarters on South Willow Street in Manchester.
Monday, the two OMalleys will participate in the Milford Labor Day Parade and then attend the Amherst Democrats Labor Day Barbecue at 3:30 p.m. at the Amherst Country Club.
Friday, OMalley will join the presidential selfie girls and other young people at a discussion about debt free college at the Puritan Backroom restaurant in Manchester at 1:30 p.m. followed by a meeting with City Year New Hampshire in downtown Manchester at 3:15 p.m.
