Martin O'Malley goes after Hillary Clinton on 'Daily Show.'

'Asked by host Trevor Noah what had changed since his endorsement of Clinton in the 2008 presidential election, O'Malley responded that "as our times change, as our challenges change, I believe that new leadership is required," and he argued that "I represent our better days."

He went hard after Clinton for her financial sector connections, noting that "She said in the debate, 'I represented Wall Street.' And yes, she did. And I believe she hasn't the independence needed to protect the main street economy from excesses on Wall Street."

O'Malley also advocated for national gun control laws. He trumpeted background check legislation passed while he was governor of Maryland and suggested that "after mass shooting after mass shooting -- surely we're capable of taking better actions than what we've taken," citing "a growing majority of Americans who believe this is crazy."'

Mayor, this does not make either a bad person, O'Malley probably does not want the crime rate of Baltimore and saying he worked with those who committed crimes.

She's Wall St.'s sweetheart candidate, and her donor base proves it. Her "I told Wall St.
to CUT IT OUT!" line during the debate was laughable, but she doubtless scored a few
points with it anyway because NO ONE called her out on it, pointing to the million$ she's
taking (both through the Clinton Foundation and in campaign donations) from the Wall
Street Billionaires.

Before this Primary is over, I hope to high heaven that SOMEONE calls Hillary on this ^
or she'll continue to pull the proverbial wool over voters' eyes and deceive low-info voters
into voting against their own best interests.

Wall Street is spending 10 times more against her than they donate towards her. Since the great recession they see any democrat as the enemy. Hillary does have good ideas on how to reform the system and she has proven many times in her life how hard she works to achieve her goals.

But Hillary is indeed their dream candidate, as the numbers do not lie.

Clinton total contributions = $77.5 million (mostly from Wall St.)
Jeb Bush total contributions = $24.8 million

Clinton's $77.5 million is almost as much as ALL the Republicans combined.

It's all here, in the Wall St. Journal back in July

On edit: here's another table that shows what's going on with Wall St. & Bush/Clinton

but what you are missing is that Wall Street is funneling the money to their preferred party through the Citizens United loopholes and that is not showing in the numbers above.

can you prove that? or is it just what you want to believe?

Do you have a link or anything that supports your contention?

My contention is that she is not Wall Streets choice, unless you think they are in favor of overturning Citizens United, increasing and protecting regulations on the financial markets etc. I would have to look around for more but there is this graph for now that you can consider.

I don't trust for a minute her "tough talk" about Wall St. reform, or even Citizen United
for that matter, and all the graphs in the world won't change my mind about that.

Before Bernie got into this Primary, and started electrifying 10s of thousands who were
clamoring to see & hear him, with his calling-out Wall St. and denouncing CU (by NOT
taking Super-PAC money); Hillary was NOT making grand statements about these issues,
not until Bernie did, then she had little choice but to say "me too" .. not only to that but
to the Keystone deal and to TPP.

I don't trust a word she says about these issues, because her record (and her list of
major donors) screams otherwise.
