'When O'Malley was polite, the media accused him of being too laid back and not much of a fighter. Now that he's fighting hard, they laugh at him for being a petulant, rude, insolent brat. How can we get his message out when the media keep moving the goalposts and pushing against him? We have to keep fighting back, we have to let the media and Hillary-lovers know we won't stand for this damned-if-you-do, damned-if-you-don't attitude toward our candidate!'

I might add that it's not just the media saying and doing these things; I hear and read them from 'people' too.
