Puerto Rico to host 2020 World Travel and Tourism Council Global Summit
SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico Discover Puerto Rico, the islands first-ever and new destination marketing organization, has announced that the island will serve as the host for the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) 2020 global summit, following the formal announcement made by WTTC at the closing ceremony of the 2019 summit in Seville, Spain.
Representing the global private sector of travel and tourism, the global summit is regarded as the most crucial worldwide event in the industry, and gathers significant global business leaders yearly.

This, on the rise, has given the islands increasing popularity as a must-visit destination on a global scale and validated given the selection by the WTTC, as the first US island territory to host the critical event.
