In a greedy GOP world of privileged haves and want-to-keeps, Bernie (and Warren) has moved the Overton window more toward progressive ideas and we owe his movement a note of gratitude. We need most of his policies to be enacted into law. For sure. We need to keep the House and flip the Senate to do it.

If you're a Senator, you should be rewarded based on merit for service to our nation. Better than taking lobbyist money or succumbing to corruption in other ways. Bernie is a good man that cares about people, and he has a comfortable life. I'm OK with that.

"Good men" don't need to demean the Democratic party and Democrats with lies and smears about the Democratic party being "corrupt" and "feeble" and "the same as the GOP". What good purpose does that serve? Why would a good man do that?

I am ideologically closer to Bernie (though I'm somewhere in between the two of them), but I think they are both good people.

Neither was my first choice, but I'd be happy to vote for either of them in November.

Combine that with his tendency to buy into his supporters’ somewhat messianic view of him and it’s a bit too much One True Way for my taste.
