Interesting sidelight on the Michigan results tonight....

Rashida Tlaib's district is in Wayne County, Michigan. So far Biden is leading in Wayne County (VERY early) by 53-44. Tlaib won her primary two years ago by only 900 votes. This year she's being challenged by an African American man.

This could be something interesting to watch throughout the night and the spring/summer (primary is in August)

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

She supported Pelosi’s leadership and has urged party unity. To me, she’s the right kind of progressive.

currently she does a poor job of that. Hopefully her watching how Senator Sanders is being largely dismantled in larger, diverse states is a wakeup call for her, if she has larger political aspirations. I tend to believe that if Biden picks a female runningmate, that person likely is our first female President. But AOC is young and if she stays healthy, she has plenty of time.
