Great comment from a Minnesota Public Radio host, Lynn Warfels:

"Here is the deal: No candidate is perfect. You probably gauge their near-perfection by whether or not they stand for something YOU want. YOUR causes. Or are YOUR gender. (Although that last one stings, it's something to be made right next time around. It will certainly never happen if you don't vote this time around.) Most of the former would be called privilege, or, at best, wishful thinking. You might not have the privilege of getting what you want this election, but you do have the privilege to vote for the Democratic candidate who can stop the madness that is no less than the destruction of the United States.

"We don't need a revolution as much as we need salvation.

"First priority is to get rid of Trump. I have never seen an election go by in America where everyone loved the candidate. Just doesn't happen. So, as I said before, shut up and vote. None of this elitist 'nose-holding' crap. Quit whining and save your currently damned country. Shut up and vote, and be proud you did. It may be the best, most heroic thing you've ever done in your lifetime. Maybe the best thing ever done in the history of America."

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

The country turns more to the right.

Every single time.

Participate and push.

Boycott and despair some more.

Can we afford four more years of the incompetent in chief and his incompetent minions? I don't think so. It would only get much, much worse.

Some think if we hit rock bottom, we will see the progressive light. Yet, history tells us a very different story.

Vote! Participate and push!

I really get tired of this divisive commentary from the media. People will turn out and vote if the nominee can energize them to do so it is as simple as that. A candidate wants my vote tell me what you are going to do for me, not how bad the other side is (I already know that part).

But there is nothing remotely normal about the unindicted co-conspirator we have now.

If Joe Biden is the victor, he will reach out of that there is little doubt. He isn't a "no, we can't," either; he is simply more incremental than some of the others.

That said and even though I have respected and liked Joe Biden for years, this thing is not over yet.

We definitely need to save the Republic from a Republican led revolution that intends to transform our nation into a dictatorship.

If you are upset about your candidate not getting the nomination, that's okay.
Four years ago I was upset that Bernie Sanders lost to Hillary Clinton.
But that didn't stop me from voting for her in the general election.
You can't always get what you want.
You have to rise above that stuff and help fix what the Republicans have broken, and are determined to smash beyond repair.

First priority is to defeat Trump and get a majority of the Senate.
If you folks want change, your only chance of having that happen depends on it.

Well said.

The GREAT thing about this election cycle is we had EIGHTEEN candidates....ALL with good ideas! Anyone of them would be a life saver from this decomposition of our government and our American way of life.

Sad we didn't get a woman, an Asian, Hispanic or person of color to be the finalist. But WE THE PEOPLE made that decision! Both of our finalists are older than me, but both would be great...and a bazillion times better than this draft dodging coward, traitor, con artist grifter that we are threatened with for another four years of this escalating nightmare!

The VP could, and probably should be, a woman, minority or both. They can take the reins in 2024...as it is going to take a generation to fix the shit this deplorable loser dumped on our nation and the world. She is coming!!

And the administration will be filled with COMPETENT and people of all genders and ethnicities. This nightmare must end!! I have watched my country slowly sink into something I am embarrassed and ashamed of. The last three + years have been a free fall and a threat to our democracy, AND the welfare and safety of the world.

Have hope and VOTE!! It's the ONLY solution to our future.

She said that so well!! I know Bernie & his fans are depressed right now, with good reason. But even if they hate Joe Biden, eventually they should realize that there is something bigger at stake than their hurt feelings.. Either you'll vote to preserve democracy or you're voting to continue this nightmare for another 4 years!
