Does Bernie still honestly believe he will be our party's nominee?

Does Bernie still honestly believe he will be our party's nominee?

It's a fair question. People deserve to know if the person who hopes to lead our party and our nation (and the world) is capable of looking at the data and accepting the reality of the political landscape.

Not sure this is the time for a revolution, maybe it will happen anyway. But in the meantime I'm ridin with Biden because I'd like a return to sanity first.

day of primaries. After that he is out and the vast majority of his supporters will understand that, while he has made many of his policies popular and possible in the long run, he has been defeated by the voters. That's how democracy works. His ideas will live on.

What makes Bernie think that his ideas are popular when he has been defeated by the voters? Does he think it's all voter suppression/mainstream media and not him?

I really don't understand this and I've read it so many times on line, why does Bernie think that anyone outside of his supporters are supportive of his ideas?

I like the ideas he has but I don't think they are realistic and I think there are other things that are bigger issues that I think are realistic.

Such as free college. I like the idea, I don't love it for a lot of reasons (I think the quality will plummet) and I think it's not nearly as big of an issue as gun control. So while I like his stance, sorta, on college, I hate his position with guns.

But I do appreciate the answer, thank you.

His platform is crippled by the fact that he’s the messenger and by the toxic coterie with which he surrounds himself.

Because exit polls show that his ideas are popular with a majority, even though many of them are votingf for Biden. Implying that there are a bunch of Biden voters who prefer Bernie's positions, but are voting for Biden for other reasons (e.g. believing he has a better chance against Trump, believing he'd be a stronger leader, etc.)

9. It's also possible to believe #3 and #2 at the same time.

That is, it is also possible that (#3) he does not expect to be the nominee, but also that he believes (#2) there is still some small possibility.

And it is always possible that there is some unforeseen/unforeseeable implosion of the Biden campaign. So you can't rule it out. But realistically, he has very little chance.
