Louisiana Postpones Democratic Primary

“Louisiana has postponed its presidential primaries set for next month, becoming the first state to take the step as fears about the coronavirus outbreak spread,” CNBC reports.

“The state will push back its nominating contests to June 20 and July 25.”

I know that states usually run primaries, and I know that Louisiana has a Democratic governor, but I imagine most of the other state offices are filled with Republicans...

By the end of March Biden will have an enormous delegate lead and I would think Sanders, despite his obliviousness to reality, will have to call it quits. Im thinking his ego wont be able to handle the continuous blowout loses.

8. That's why we need alternate ways of voting in every state.

Every state should have mail-in ballots. Here in the South, of course, they make it as difficult as possible to vote. I had to vote absentee one time and the clerk asked me why I was voting absentee and acted like she really resented giving me a ballot. I admire the people in this country who are working on election reform. It's one of our most important problems.

I guess we won't find out until this situation dies down a little, which might be by summer.
