Very negative. Here's how Common Dreams describes it:

A Sanders advertisement titled "Protect Social Security" swipes at Biden for his record on not only that social safety net program, but also Medicare and Medicaid. The ad features audio of the former vice president recalling his argument for a federal spending freeze, followed by Sanders saying: "Well, we've got some bad news for them. We are not gonna cut Social Security. We are gonna expand benefits."

Apparently he's running it all 4 March 17 states: Arizona, Florida, Illinois, and Ohio.

Helpful isn't it?

Bernie has no path, at this point he is helping Trump and there is no other way to look at it. People need to stop giving him the benefit of doubt. Ask yourself... what are his true intentions?

… because that is far too kind a description of this kind of bullshit.

Bernie is no longer attacking a political rival for the nomination – he is attacking the man who he knows will be our candidate. And if he doesn’t know that by now, he’s delusional.

Bernie began his campaign attacking the party who gave him a spot on our ticket. He went on to label everyone who didn’t support him as “establishment Dems” or “corporate Dems’, both labels meant to belittle and demean.

Even back in 2016, I saw Bernie as the snake who would bite us in the end – and he did it then, and he’s doing it again.

“Feel the Bern” was never about a revolution against injustice or inequality as much as it was about Bernie being elevated to the position of power he has always felt entitled to. And just like Trump, Bernie has always played to his base without any regard to those ‘outcasts’ who refuse to drink his particular flavour of kool-aid.

It was inevitable that “Feel the Bern” would become ‘burn it all down” if the primaries didn’t go Bernie’s way – and the ad you’ve posted is the proof thereof.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I did vote for BS in the primary in 2016, because I have a very late primary and it was down to him and Hillary. I thought at that time, BS had a better chance of beating Trump in November. I still think that but it doesn't matter, I supported Hillary and BEGGED the BS supporters I knew to back her, once she was the nominee. Some of them were complete shitheads about it. Which I'll admit is part of my strong aversion to BS this time. A strong leader would have done a better job turning his followers to support the actual nominee. Failing to do that helped ensure that my worst fears about Hillary were realized. (And her losing to Trump WAS my worst fear about her.)

But I always hated "Feel the Bern". It's a horrible slogan that is more like "we will beat your ass and raise our flag on your motionless body". Hardly the progressive philosophy I was raised with. Kind of spits on all our previous models of non-violence like Gandhi, MLK, and Mandela. (Kind of ironic when the same "feel the Bern" types complain about other politico's supposed "war-mongering'. Where do they think war comes from?)

We know BS' character and motivations. Beating Trump has never ever been BS' priority and he hires people who similarly couldn't care less about beating Trump.

At least we now know that the benevolent interpretations of his recent speech with his questions for Biden were not warranted. They gave BS too much credit. He has no interest in a productive dialogue and maybe work together with Biden to achieve some of his goals, he doesn't want to prepare his followers for unity, he doesn't want to set up the party for a successful general election. That is why gets nothing done in a nutshell.
Hopefully, the current polls are accurate and Biden's lead will almost double next Tuesday. Sure, BS will likely remain in the race as long as he can dupe his followers into sending more money with misleading statements and lies but he'll get more and more irrelevant.

Also, it's such a dishonest tactic to claim Biden advocated for something for 40 years because the first time something was said was 40 years ago while in contradiction to that there is a proven effort by Biden to save these systems. That's like claiming BS has been writing rape fantasies for almost 50 years.
