Got a note from moveon asking to help support Steve Bullock from Montana

I guess he just announced a run for the senate. The focus was if we could flip Montana we might be able to pull the rug out from Moscow Mitch. I’d love to see Mitch lose re-election but having him lose his role as senate leader would almost be as good. What do folks know about Bullock? Is he worthy, does he stand a chance? I’m thinking of sending some money to his campaign.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

In 2016, he was the most popular Democratic governor in the country and fourth overall. He definitely has an excellent shot.

He's my governor. And he has been able to work with or around the R legislature and has been termed out. Finishing his second term now. He was our AG prior to being elected governor. He's against big money in politics and has fought in the courts to maintain our state's laws prohibiting outside interests participating in/manipulating our elections. He got us expanded medicaid, fought the legislature for a couple years over it but we got it and it as helped.

Montana is home to several wilderness areas and a couple national parks and lots of other public lands and issues regarding climate concerns and public/private use.

He's well liked and two of the candidates who had filed previously dropped out as soon as Bullock filed. He has a really good chance at taking the seat, which would give us our second D Senator, and now that the DNC is focused on helping him, there's a good chance he'll win it. A lot of us wanted him to run for the Senate when he announced he was running for president. So now we're glad that he's changed his mind. It takes a lot to get around the state to campaign. We have a small population but geographically, we're huge.

Primary is in early June.

I live in a pretty blue state and not too worried about my senators but I’d really like to see Mitch gone. I already donated to the woman in Kentucky. Can’t think of her name right now. Getting old.

have run for this office from the beginning, instead of wasting time and $$$ in the Dem primaries.

I would LOVE to see him take this seat from Steve Daines, who is a Trump Toady-par-Excellence, just like ALL the other Senate GOPers.

I'll be contributing to his campaign.
